Baghdad, Iraq February 2010 ~ Present

Backscatter Field Service Engineer / IT Manager

  • Responsible for maintaining 2 VSAT systems and network security.
  • Removed all wireless networking and hard wired the entire encampment of 4 buildings for 20+ users
  • Built and implemented internal NAS
  • Configured load balancing between the 2 networks to stabilize the existing network.
  • Responsible for user training of the Backscatter X-Ray Platform throughout the country.
  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of the Backscatter X-ray Platform and vehicles
  • Implemented and documented ghosting procedures


Kabul, Afghanistan July 2009 ~ December 2009

IT/Communications Country Manager

  • Managed and led a team of 70 workers in the task areas of acquisition and distribution of Department of Defense property for more than 4 military units throughout Afghanistan.
  • Maintained accurate property management of more than 300 pieces of government equipment valued over $34 million.
